honey, i got rhythms i haven't used yet

got Spaz the reissue of Journeys by DJ's 70 Minutes of Madness : Coldcutas a gift.

...my only possible summation, after listening a few times, is the same as it was the first time through. the phrase most aptly descriptive of Coldcut is, "our record collection pisses all over yours." seriously. i doubt you'll get a word of sense out of me other than that; it's that good.

for more sensible reviews, try here and also here.

also, "A Message From Our Sponsor" is ace. creepily, presciently ace.

hey janaki! :)

by the way, glad to see you agree with the coldcut :) i have an internal conflict with the re-release tho, on one hand i am glad they re-released it cos now more kids will hear it, but on the other, it makes my JDJ original worth less than it was a couple of years ago ha ha!

janni likes to cook and bake. a lot. but mostly? she likes to sharpen her knives. because a dull knife is a dangerous knife, and we simply can't have that...

about this layout:
this is acid reflux v. 5.0 of Headphones Save Lives. featuring the ebullient Emperor Chairman Kaga from the fine Fuji TV show Ryori no Tetsujin and seen in the US on the Food Network as Iron Chef. revel in his mastery of bell peppers!
