June 28, 2003sidenote(i hope it isn't too terribly wrong that i'm really quite looking fwd to LaraCroftTombRaiderCradleOfLife. and if it is, well...it is what it is. XD) lo, i am a sad, sad girl. but! Mlle. Jolie! doing her own stunts! i have much wub in my heart for well-executed stuntwork done (well, mostly) not by doubles. i have respect for people going out and learning things in order to know how they work and do them themselves for the acting roles they take on. well, to a degree. there are obv. instances in which such things would just be, well, dumb. ...and if i hear Kate Pierson's voice one more time today, i swear someone is going to pay. *.*;;;;; *stabstabstabstab* in other news, my yarn hates me. well, a specific sort of yarn. >.<;;;;; i think i need sleep. i played the first two games, and i liked them a lot. it's annoying how they were constantly hyped as nothing but mindless masturfodder, because they really were better than that. i mean, one can wank over (and incite others to wank over) anything, but it really kinda devalued the games to portray them as good for nothing but, y'know? and i muchly. i was quite amazed Mlle. Jolie pulled off the accent as well as she did, but i don't recall her slipping even once, which would've been rather jarring to me. i really hope this second one is as much fun. ^^ Posted by: janni at June 30, 2003 01:40 PMget cut off! but i loved the first movie...
