DAFTASTIC!

did something rather stupid yesterday...went book shopping (must teach myself new skills which i'm not ready to divulge just yet, lest i fail miserably...^.-), and was of course pawing over a whole bunch of books. before going in, i'd had my sunglasses on...cos it was blindingly bright out. took them off...and put them on a shelf whilst i was perusing the books.

and i'm sure you can guess what happened next, right?

yep. picked out a book, went up to the register, paid for it, left...got about 3 blocks away...and then realised i'd left my sunglasses sitting on the shelf in the store. and realised i was going to miss my train because of it. --;;;

but of course, i HAD to run back. cos my sunglasses are actually prescription glasses with a magnetic sunglass attachment. so, uh...i need them to see. and stuff. at least, at work. and while driving. the rest of the time, i'm fine without them. but they really do come in handy. luckily, they were still right where i'd left them. sometimes i am the epitome of 'daft,' i swear. --;;

but, all's well. now i've just got this seven zillion ton book to lug around until i've gleaned all the knowledge from it that i can...mwahhahahah...XD
