audio: the "Inside the CIA" special on the Discovery Channel downstairs; some weirdo driving by in a really loud car repeatedly, and Spaz playing with my keyboard. ^.^

practice last night was kinda eh. everyone was out of it. and no Eric, cos he was a rehearsal dinner for his friend's wedding last night. when someone isn't there, usually we're all kinda out of it.

i nearly killed someone last night, though...it takes REAL lack of thought to decide it's a good idea to put your can of pop down on someone's keyboard. particularly someone's brand new, not-even-had-it-for-a-whole-WEEK-yet keyboard. *glares* he didn't...he got yelled at by me and someone else before he actually did so. but i can guarantee you it wouldn't have been pretty if he had. some people are amazingly thoughtful. *growls*

got lots to do this weekend...wanna put my plants outside in the ground, wanna do stuff with the keyboard, wanna finish off Spaz' shift boot...and need to work on my caffeine mix! in fact, shall do so right now...after trying to find a cheaper version of a cable i need for my keyboard to interface with my computer.

which, BTW, is a whole other stupid thing entirely. it's hard to find the cable you're looking for when the bloody manual doesn't even think it necessary to tell you what it's called...--;;; (and no, it's not the MIDI cables, thanks. :P)

(oh, and the dude who sold the cable to me? looked a bit like...Barney. O.O;;; in the face, at least. but he had a bulky, football-player type frame and looked v. uncomfortable in his suit. plus, he was a complete arsehole. however, i thought i'd mention. XD )
