August 26, 2002ON ARGYLE ISLE
rather: i have the best socks in the world on my feet right now. thinking that i was merely buying some really cute socks that were soft and not too thin and had fuzzy cuffs, i exited a nearby Target on Saturday with two such pairs of socks in my bag (along with a couple other pairs, including one involving blue argyle). after putting all of the socks through the washer and dryer, i discovered the truth of these new socks i'd bought. they were not skimped on; it was not merely the cuffs that were fuzzy, but the entire inside of these socks! ^__________^ they're so fuzzy and good, in fact, that i can't seem to stop making fists with my toes inside my shoes. i'm doing it even as i write this. in conclusion, i have the best socks in the world on my feet right now, and i thought i should share. also, i paid a visit to the post office this morning to send off a long-overdue package of 3v331 (the final one i'd had planned! yay! ^-^), and while there i noticed our new standard first-class postage stamp design. looks familiar, doesn't it? therefore, i can only conclude that Paul the Postman must have some high-ranking USPS postage-stamp-designer friends who are concerned about the welfare of Mr. Bear. nothing else particularly useful to say, except do any of you here know anyone who's so very special that they can manage to injure themselves while kneading BREAD DOUGH??!?! you do now. granted, it was rye dough, and therefore far more vicious than regular bread dough. but still. this was only with HALF the recommended recipe, too! i'd probably have broken my arm entirely had i made a full recipe! >.<;;; Comments
