HRRM.

i came to a realisation yesterday.

no matter how many completely trashy, bad movies i watch, none of them will ever come close to the headpain induced by attempting to sit through and make sense of Battlefield Earth. seriously. not even bad in an amusing way.

(and i always forget that WILLOW is the Leprechaun! Kimmie, darling, won't you and C.H.U.D. save me from myself? eeeeeee! XD)

thing is, i have to have noise when i'm in the house by myself. and it helps to have noise going on if i'm doing something else, mostly because then i have some idea of how time is working. otherwise i probably wouldn't notice hours flying by. so i do use the TV as background noise a lot when doing other things. so i wouldn't say i really watch it much, but it's there, in the same room with me while i'm doing other things.

(wow, Denise Crosby has done a lot of shit movies, hasn't she? XD)

...which is not really an excuse, but. why don't i listen to music, then? usually because that's more distracting to me. i'll start singing along, or dancing around, or what have you---and not really do much of whatever it is i'm trying to do as my primary task. sometimes, sure---but lately, i've been very easily distracted by music. though it's kinda funny, cos i'm only that easily distracted at home. at work, i have my headphones on all the time...

(...and speaking of which, as a total aside, i now want EVERYTHING Lolita No. 18 has ever done. *.*;;;;)
